Well- I tried the suggestion. Factory reset camera. Even deleted the app and loaded again. And exactly the same- software not updated error. There must be something wrong with the software somewhere as this is the second camera that is behaving Exactly like this. Any other ideas before it gets sent back and another brand purchased?

This is the second camera that I’ve had this problem with -returned the first. After the clean the batteries in the camera and setting it up to the app prompts for a firmware update which it goes through the process and then says fails, firmware update and offers the option of trying again later. I have tried several times and just will not update to the latest version, as a result, the live camera feed does not work. What do I need to do to get this working please?

I've had this happen on occasion and don't really have a clear strategy on how to fix it. My best suggestion is to continue on and finally remove the camera from your account. Use the following link for the reset procedure and then try onboarding it again.
