Floodlight will flash multiple times when in light mode only, works fine when armed

Been having issues with my floodlight. it worked fine for a few years but now giving me issues only when its scheduled to act like a floodlight and not camera. When its armed it turns on and records for the time it needs to. However when I set the schedule to turn on light and not record so that I can use it a flood light during the evening and don't need to record it turns on for like 3 seconds then off and does it again and again and eventually it will stay on for a bit.

I thought maybe my light was broken but I have another one and it is doing the same thing so I think its the software.

I have done everything, removed it, reinstalled it, new battery, paired it to the wifi, paired it to the hub, changed every single setting there is and still not working.
