Arlo floodlight wont run and charge at same time

Got an Alro 3 Floodlight camera.

Its plugged into the magenetic charger which should be able to stay connected all the time, but the app gives me a message saying it cant be plugged in and work at the same time.

Thoughts?

Are you using the indoor charger, or the Arlo outdoor charger?

You need to use the outdoor one.

The outdoor charger has a 25 foot cable that is fully integrated with the charger (cannot be detached). So this is easy to check. Links to the two versions (white and black) are

FWIW, your symptom is exactly what happens if you connect the indoor charger to the camera.

Very helpful thank you. Im in the Uk so will dig out the equivelant - I think I must have indoor
