How does Motion/Audio detection work?

Hi all,

How does Motion/Audio detection work? I turned off the Audio detection because even at Level 1 it picks up even the Wind. lol

Motion detection is still , so will that record with sound even if Audio detection is off? Thanks.

I don't use it either - too much ambient noise in my neighborhood to make it useful for me.
