Normally not. You do need to make sure the 2.4 gHz radio in the modem is enabled.

Have you tried temporarily setting the house wifi to match the network name and password of the LTE modem? Then sync the cameras to the house wifi. After that is finished, set the house wifi back to the normal network setup, and turn on the LTE modem. If the cameras show off-line initially try restarting them (remove the batteries and reinsert them).

Hi,
I have purchase 2 x floodlights and I’m trying to connect them up to my TP-link mr6400 4G modem which has a telstra SIM card in it.

I have tried everything but I cannot get the camera to sync up with the modem.
I can use it with my normal house modem but not with the 4G.

Is there anything special I need to be doing in the settings of the modem to make it work?
Do you need port forwarding or static ip or anything like that

Thanks
Matt
