Solar panel for floodlight - not charging

I brought a Arlo solar panel to go with one of my floodlights but I can’t get to charge.

I tried everything that the net says but without any success.

Any ideas.

Assuming you got the right solar panel with the proper connector, getting the connectors on both ends properly seated can be an issue. Take your time and ensure they're fully seated. Is the panel in direct sunlight with the light hitting it squarely? You should see the battery icon with a lightning bolt if charging.

Of course, it's possible you got a bad panel so swapping at the store may be needed.

I’ve tried all those that you suggested but no avail.

I can’t send the panel back because I tossed the box.

If nothing else, buy a new one and return the original one in the new box.

I have an idea for you Sparky-

Have you tried a different Security Camera brand? Just a thought!!!!

Tried a different Arlo floodlight and still the same.

The panel is probably faulty.

I was referring to changing to a different security camera company
