turn on still camera icon

Had a still camera icon to take individual pictures. It went away, how do I find it again. Am on trial 3 month subscription. It has to be a software switch somewhere. Have 2 outdoor cameras. Shouldn't be this difficult for a system that costs this much.

Live stream the camera, and you will see the still camera icon (as well as the manual video recording controls).

This is not true. I used to be able to record and take pictures when in live view but all that went away. Icon is not available anymore. Do you need the subscription to be able to do manual recording and take still pictures?

Yes. Though you said you had the trial subscription earlier in the thread. Has that expired?
