Trying to set up one camera to always run on motion and the other camera on a schedule. It's only allowing me to choose one mode at a time. Tried creating a new mode for camera 2 to run on a schedule throughout the day while having camera 1 always be on for motion but it won't allow me to select more than one mode at a time.

You're close. Create enough modes as needed for any particular time periods. Any camera without a rule is disarmed. So, you'd need at least 2 modes, one with both cameras having rules and the other with only one camera rule. Then place them in the schedule as needed. To span midnight, use, say, 10PM to 11:59PM and then another from 12:00AM to 6AM.
