Arlo Pro 3 - Motion does not record unless notifications are turned on.

I want vehicles to always be recorded, but I don't want notifications for them. Arlo records vehicles fine if the smart notifications for vehicles are on, but if I turn off smart notifications for vehicles, Arlo stops recording vehicles entirely. Is there a way to fix this?

You can turn notifications off in mode>rules for that camera but you will not get any notifications for other type of motions you have selected in smart. Not sure there is a way to do what you want.

You could use local recordings since everything is recorded there. Smart uploads the video and determines whether it should be sent to the library so turning off Smart notifications for vehicles will result in no cloud recordings but local recordings would still be there.

You could just deactivate the camera in Smart Notifications so Smart doesn't process the recordings at all.
