    <description>&lt;P&gt;You would need a separate CVR subscription for continuous recording that go to Arlo servers. You can't use that on local recordings to the hub but the hub will record all motion recordings if that's what your looking for. Local is a good way to see if the cloud is missing a recording or as a back up.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am writing to see if continuous recording to a local drive is possible. I am finding my cameras are missing some motion events so I would like to have a local back up of everything. I intend to keep the Arlo smart motion recording data plan in addition to the local backup.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
