Im needing help from the Arlo community. I just recently purchased the set of Arlo pro 3. I have one camera outside and the other in my Livingroom facing the main entrance. the main issue that I'm having is that i cant find a way to not getting push notification when I'm at home from my Livingroom camera. I have little kids running around all day and as you can imagine, the app is eating my cellphone battery with the constant notifications. when im home i would like the camera to record activities but not get notifications. anyone has an idea how to do this without having to turn on and off the Livingroom camera all the time. besides draining my battery its super annoying. i just got rid of my Chinese brand "YI" camera that i easily turned off notifications for a certain camera and it continued to record. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You could go to smart notifications and uncheck people notifications for that camera. It will still record but you will not get notifications. There are three choices, People, Animals and Motion, just uncheck what you don't want.

That's what custom modes and the schedule are all about. Create as many custom modes as you need for different time periods with appropriate settings in each rule (turn off notifications for the inside camera for daytime use) and then schedule them to automate the switching. There are FAQs here detailing this and many other topics in the support section. Remember that any camera without a rule is disarmed.

Thank you, at the beginning that is what I was trying to do but it either let me select push notification or email it had to be one of both. so now I wasnt getting notifications but my email was getting bombarded after many many tries of setting up a custom mode it finally worked.
