topic Question about aftermarket charging cables vs Arlo in Arlo Pro 3

Hi all - I'm about to pull the trigger on a 3-camera system for my home. I plan on subscribing to Arlo Smart in order to take advantage of phone access and other features. I also plan on connecting at least 2 of the cameras to a wired power supply. MY question concerns loss of functionality if I use aftermarket power charging adapters (numerous ones available on Amazon for $12-17) vs the Arlo adapters that are $50 each. Can anyone tell me if they've had experience with any of the aftermarket cables? Do they work just as well as the Arlo cables? I dont need anywhere near 25 ft and also wouldn't mind saving some $$.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Arlo does not recommend using third-party accessories. Use of third-party equipment could result in damage to your Arlo cameras that will void your warranty. For more information on accessories designed specifically for use with Arlo, take a look here: Arlo Products and Accessories
