Pro 3 camera synced to Pro 2 Base station question

Can anyone tell me if a Pro 3 camera synced to a Pro 2 Base station will upload an event to my free cloud storage?

The Pro 3 can be synced to the VMB4000 base ( https://kb.arlo.com/000062253/Is-Arlo-Pro-3-backwards-compatible-with-my-existing-Arlo-system ). But it requires a paid subscription for cloud storage (no matter what base you use).

Thought that might be the case, guess I’ll just buy another pro 2 then
