Arlo App Connection to iPhone Microphone

We just bought the Pro 3. The Arlo app requested and connected to my iPhone microphone but not my wife's. Is there a way to force the Arlo app to use the iPhone app? We need this to talk through the camera.

Why won't the Arlo App ask for permission to use my iPhone microphone? Without it, I cannot speak through the camera.

I don't remember if Arlo app asking it but i think it did. But if you go to your Iphone settings and select the Arlo app options there is an option to allow the microphone.

When I go to the app, there is no place for me to request or select the iPhone microphone.

Not in the Arlo app go to the settings for your phone. Then scroll down where all apps are listed and select Arlo for the options.

Understood and I went there ... no toggle or otherwise to engage the microphone. Weird

Interesting ... On my phone, i have the toggle but not on my wife's phone. Any suggestions?
