Arlo pro 3 will detect motion but not record it

I’ve just added a pro 3 to my current Arlo pro system , my arlo pro 3 will detect motion but not record it , my arlo pro still works fine . I’ve checked the rule for the arlo pro 3 and it won’t let me change it to record video when motion detected any ideas

What base station are you using as older arlo pro bases are not compatible but since it is connected have you tried it on the web at my.arlo.com.

That is compatible. Have you tried it on the web or other device and how do you know it is detecting motion but not recording it?

I get notifications to say motion detected but doesn’t save the clip in Library, when I go on the rules for that camera it won’t let me select the option record video when motion detected.
I’ve gone on the web and clicked on my account and view camera but it say Safari cannot open this invalid address

Try deleting that camera from the mode then reinstall it.

Are using my arlo link at the top right of this page? Its works fine on edge browser on my computer. Also try what k80 said.

Reading other forums it’s says that you now have to pay for the pro3 to save videos to the cloud it will only work if you put and usb in the base and then the video with save locally to the USB

i will removing the camera from the base 1st and re install it

You should have a 3 month trial though for the smart plan that saves to cloud for 30 days if it is a new setup since you just added it. Check to make sure in settings then subscription to see if you have it. If it is a resold camera it may have been used.
