Hey Guys and Girls.

I have a quick question. I current have a wired standard alarm system that records to a harddrive and then linked to a private security company through the phone line. I have installed a wireless router and attached the Arlo pro 3 hub to it. I have included the arlo in my retail store so I have remote real time viewing while we are on locked down with Covid 19. My problem is everytime the alarm goes off or its deactivated it turns my Arlo home hub offline for 5mins. I suspect its the internet connection being lost from my router??

Has anyone had any problems with this before?

The base will of course go off-line if the internet connection drops. But I don't see how the alarm would do that. Likely you'll need to wait until you can be on-premise to troubleshoot it.

BTW you could potentially get a UPS that keeps your router and the base station (and modem if you have one) running though short power outages - might be worth thinking about when things get back to normal.
