Thank you for your help. I was able to format a card thanks to your help.

in the app under storage settings the following are now green:

Record Locally

overwrite automatically

direct storage access

the storage status is “ready”

under storage status the local storage status is “good”

available storage 9.41mb of 58.22mb

however, when I click on the library (it is on base station, not cloud since I canceled that subscription this week) I get the following message

“ videos stored on base station are not available. Please check your connection settings” with a “learn more and a cancel link.

I have the phone/app connected to the same WiFi that the hub is using.

thanks for any help

I have a VBM5000r5 base station. I have inserted a 64GB micro card in the base station, but I keep getting an error message that the card needs to be at least 1GB.

does this card need to be formatted? If so, what format?

They are formatted FAT32 - the base can do that for you.

Usually your issue either means the card is defective or that it was pre-formatted with multiple partitions. If you can connect it to a PC, then you can go into the Windows disk manager and delete all the partitions on it (and if you like, create a new one). FWIW, Windows calls the partitions "volumes".
