I had the same problem that recently my Arlo cameras drain their batteries fast (like 2 days). I have 3 Arlo cameras for about 2 years and this has just started happening recently. There has been no network changes. My setup is ;

3XArlo Pro 3 cameras activated in August 2021.. Firmware is the latest - 1.080.14.2_6_b1306bd. Power management for all three is set to Best Battery Life.

I have SmartHub VMB4540R3 and is connected to the internet via ethernet to my router.

I use the web interface on my Mac, and the App on my iPhone (version 5.2.2 of the App). The app is new as of 1 week ago.

I have a smart hub VMB4540r3, also with the latest firmware. The cameras are connected to the hub so I can record local storage.

Debugging steps

I unplugged the smart hub and plugged it back in.

I removed the batteries from the cameras and put them back in.

I did a factory reset of the cameras by removing them via the app and adding them back in. I then retested, but the problem persists.

I did a factory reset of the cameras by pressing the synch button for 15 seconds, then re-adding back via the app. I then retested, but the problem persists.

I tried moving one of the cameras near the hub, but the camera drained the battery at the same rate.

I tried new batteries, but they went flat at more or less the same rate.

And then suddenly the problem went away! I am convinced that it was nothing I did.

Access to support either requires a subscription or a camera under warranty. You reach support through the app (not the web browser).

If you see "Library" in your app menu, then use this guide:

https://kb.arlo.com/000062461/What-is-the-Support-Center-in-the-Arlo-App

If you instead see "Feed" and "Dashboard", use this one:

https://kb.arlo.com/000062993/What-is-the-Support-Center-in-the-Arlo-Secure-App-Arlo-Secure-4-0

@MartyMomkvist wrote:

If you have the camera connected to a solar panel, try disconnecting it and see if the battery life improves.

Fast power drain is usually caused by lots of video streaming/recording. Activity zones mask the actual amount of video streaming from the camera. So if you use them, try removing them, and then estimate how many minutes of video recording you are getting per day.
