So tired of this. Have 5 cameras. Some of them often go offline and stay there until I reset, with all inconvenience (climb up ladder, take down camera, up again). Sometimes a camera can make 30 recordings ”Animal” but there is no animal or nothing, but battery will get finished. Often get notifications about movement but there are no recordings. Often record only 10 sec but movement is much longer. Sometimes record very long time but there is no movement. Sometimes doesn’t record at all although there are people or vehicles. So tired of this, have invested a lot of money in this equipment. Have Arlo solar cells for charging batteries, some work good and some not at all.

Please contact support. Within the app on your mobile device click on the silhouette on the top left ~ support center ~ the device that you are needing assistance with then choose the behavior you are seeing.

Mine work a little better in terms of detecting motion but god forbid there is a firmware update! I keep clicking on manual firmware update for days and still doesn't update. I got tired of reinstalling the cameras so I’m just leaving them as is even though I don’t have live view. Interesting thing is some cameras update and some don’t, and it varies from update to update. I guess I’ll get a better system once my Arlo cameras are completely broken.

Honestly I don't know why they keep that control, since it almost never works.
