&lt;P&gt;If this is for an indoor camera, you can try getting a USB extender cable.&amp;nbsp; One risk is that there might be too much power loss in the cabling, which would result in the camera not charging.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But I think getting a longer cable would be the best path (even if that requires you to get a third-party accessory).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;To add an alternative to the mix, have an electrician install a mains socket closer to the camera for the power adapter to reach the camera.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
