I have the base connected via ethernet cable to a satellite router, which is part of my LAN. I noticed I had a free connection to a different switch, so I connected it to that and it worked fine with no disconnects that I could see while watching for a few minutes. I thought I might have a bad ethernet cable as the original one was quite lengthy and I had it coiled up as the base was beside the satellite. However, when I again tried the original cable, it has worked just fine.

I have an aggressive cleaning crew that comes in and I wonder if maybe they had moved the unit some and the connector came slightly apart somehow. Firmly reconnecting the ethernet cable seems to have done the trick. I have not had anymore issue since doing that. Pretty simple fix.

It was just odd how the unit was behaving as I described in the OP. I never would have thought that would be a bad connection, but it appears just that. All seems well now!

I have several Arlo Pro 3 cameras linked to my VMB450 smart hub. The hub appears as if it's going offline as the orange light begins blinking rather than remaining blue. The very odd thing is if a camera detects movement OR I access any camera via my iPhone app, the light immediately turns back to blue and I have no problem with accessing any camera. If I walk in front of a camera while the hub is blinking orange, the light turns blue and I am notified of the movement.

So it "appears" that all is functioning OK, but seeing the blinking orange light concerns me as if something is wrong. I am having no issues with my internet and I have other "smart" appliances connected that are not having any issue so I don't think it's the internet. The system as been running for 3 or 4 years now with no problems. Any have any similar issue with their hub??

...........Bob

May I ask which troubleshooting steps you have tried so far? I don't want to suggest anything you have previously performed.
