As to why one camera and not the other may be a number of reasons... some cameras have been know to shut down before the -4F.

Does the camera come back automatically during day when it warms up?

But, just remember that regardless of being plugged in all the time the battery will not charge if the camera is below 32F. ( safety factor so battery is not damaged )

The only thing I can suggest while you still can is to try and unplug the battery/camera that's always on charge... see if the camera acts differently... wondering if due to the charge being applied under conditions in teens.

I have two Arlo Pro 3 cameras that are outside. The temperatures at night have been in the teens for the past week or so. When the temperature went down, that's when I noticed one of my cameras was no longer online.

The camera that is offline is always plugged in to make sure it has a sufficient charge because it's mounted by my roof line and is a pain to get to. It was working fine during the warmer months, but went offline at the start of the cold weather.

My other camera is also outside and is online, it's not plugged in, and has no issues. This one is more easily accessible so I bring it inside to charge when the battery is low.

How could 1 camera work in the cold and the other does not? Anyone have any suggestions?

The documentation states:

Weather-Resistant
- Operating temperature: -4° F to 113° F
(-20° C to 45° C)

It definitely has not gone below zero, so I feel that my camera should be able to function properly.

Swap 'em around, too, just to see if there's a difference.

The camera doesn't come back online when the temperature goes back up. Right now it's in the 50's and it's still telling me it's offline. I'm planning on taking the camera in tomorrow to see if I can get it back online and will put the camera up that I don't have issues with to see if there's a difference.

I'm disappointed because I have this same issue with my Ring doorbell. When companies say that their products will operate within a certain temperature, I expect that they should function properly if they are within that range. I bought an Arlo doorbell that I haven't installed yet. I'm hoping I don't run into the same issue.

Thanks for your help!

The first thing to try is connecting it to a charger. You could also try removing/reinserting the battery before doing anything more drastic.
