    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Model Version:&amp;nbsp; Pro 3&lt;BR /&gt;Firmware: Latest available&lt;BR /&gt;OS: portable&lt;BR /&gt;network: standard setup&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After spending significant amounts of time I've decided the following is true:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;WPA2 is hopelessly outdated, WPA3 is not widely adopted yet, WPA2 is very easy to intercept traffic and credentials, 3G/4G is also relatively easy to interfere with.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-- VPN protects traffic on the phone/tablet and I recommend people use a VPN with their phone/tablet if they are using the Arlo app (or not using the app).&amp;nbsp; Mozilla is putting out a WireGuard VPN which is worth looking into for everyone for 24 hour use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cameras connected to a single wireless access point are vulnerable to signal suppression attacks and intercepted and maliciously transmitted control signals.&lt;BR /&gt;-- A wired mesh network backbone between wireless access points running the same Wi-Fi dual band networks allows for a fall back to a different band or a different wireless access point if traffic is heavily suppressed or blocked to one wireless access point on one band.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Essentially we want a camera which is fail-safe and has as many fail safes and different ways of accomplishing the same task as possible&lt;BR /&gt;-- Power:&amp;nbsp; Battery, camera wrapped in solar cells, power over ethernet, etc&lt;BR /&gt;--Signal: VPN to camera, WPA3, wired backbone mesh for routers, dual band routers, Multiple Wi-Fi points in range, ethernet&lt;BR /&gt;--Carriers: Failback to optical, 3G/4G, and/or Star Link satellite.&lt;BR /&gt;--Storage: Local storage, online storage, AI selection and compression, Really good quality storage outcomes for people who don't want to pay for AI processing but do want a good quality local and online storage option.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;As cameras are a popular target to hack it is worth looking into working with a dns resolver and a dns server to provide visibility and management outcomes to odd traffic.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
