The PIR (passive infrared) sensors used in the camera have a range of about 20-25 feet. That is nominal, it depends on the amount of IR coming from the moving object/person.

Hi
Recently I have realised that my camera is missing some recordings. For example, I can see someone walking in, but it doesn’t show them leaving in their car. We have had some teenagers in our yard, but Arlo didn’t detect any movement or record them getting into my car. This is so disappointing. It’s a hit and a miss.
