Arlo Pro 3 - how to adjust the spotlight?

I have switched off the spotlight on my Arlo Pro 3 as I’m using it to monitor wildlife in my garden but it seems the spot light is still coming on when it triggers an alert. Does anyone have any thoughts on why?

To clarify, I’ve followed the advice at https://kb.arlo.com/000062172/How-does-the-spotlight-on-my-Arlo-camera-work to disable the spotlight. I guess the question is, does any other feature such as HDR, 2K or Night Vision automatically enable the spotlight and override the low-light setting.

When I turned the spotlight off on one cam I never had to adjust other settings. I would try pulling the battery to reboot as it fixes a lot of quirks.
