Set up viewing area using camera positioning. Switched to motion detection test and it doesnt flash orange indicating it has triggered. Distance is 20 ft from house? It does trigger when closer but not where we want to view. Motion zone doesn't seem as wide as wide as180°?

Try to remove the battery for 10 seconds then trigger motion after it. If camera is still not detecting motion that means the camera no longer have a proper rule. So you may need to remove the camera from your account by going to Settings > My Devices > select affected camera > remove device.

Once camera has been removed, unplug your base form outlet for about 1 minute. After plugging it back, if the base shows 3 green lights, re-sync the camera to the base station.

If cameras are still unable to detect motion, you may need to call Arlo support.

20 feet can be a maximum distance depending on how/where it's installed. Post a screenshot for suggestions.

Also, I don't remember ever seeing a claim of 180 degree detection. It's closely matched to the optical view which is about 130 degrees.
