Arlo Pro 2 and Google Wifi

I switched out a 3 camera Arlo Pro with an extra Arlo Pro 2 camera (4 cameras total) for a 4 camera Arlo Pro 2. At the same time I added a Google wifi mesh network. My camera and wifi performance is terrible compared with Arlo Pro 2 and Google wifi compared to non mesh wifi and Arlo Pro. Is there a Arlo Pro 2 setting i should/can adjust or should I plug the base station directly into my existing router instad of directly into Google Wifi?

Try both and compare results. I have my cameras split between two base stations and just purchased the Netgear Orbi system because each satellite has ethernet plugs to plug the base stations into and the wifi name stays the same for all the satellites.

I am quite impressed with Orbi's speed and performance.
