Pro 2 uses a qulacomm type dual voltage usb adapter, 5v to run...9v to charge battery.

The Arlo Pro 2 will run ( you can even pull the battery ) off of a 5v usb supply with enough current , min of 1.8a ( if I remember )

Just remember the supplied ac adapter is not outdoor rated.

Can i use a 9v and up wall charger to continuously power my arlo pro 2 with the battery removed? Its under a covered area and i live in hawaii so cold/high temps isn't a factor.

Thank you

Prob the Iphone 5v has enough current ( look at the spec on it )

the Samsung may or may not work...some qualcomm do, but the spec is tight on the cameras

Oh I see. Will it give a warning on the app or something to tell if it's not powering correctly? Also why does arlo not just sell a damn cord? I am aware of the recall but no other alternatives...

If not charging ( samsung adapter ) you would not see the "lighting bolt" in the battery that shows charging and or it may give you a warning on screen of wrong power

If possible just use the original adapter
