What do you want to do? Ditch the Arlo base station?

If so, no. The cameras talk through that.

If you are asking about connecting the base station to the router. what's the model number of the router? MR1100? If so, unlikely. No wired LAN port.

Thanks for the response. I found out from att that the netgear nighthawk mobile hotspot router will work with arlo as Internet source. It has an ethernet port that you can hook up to the arlo base.

We still do not know what you mean by "nighthawk mobile hotspot router". The only way to check is to get the model number.

There is a manual for the MR1100 somewhere at the end of this link:

There is a LAN port in the picture, just no clear and useful description of what it does.

If it fails, I can think of ways that might get the think to work – perhaps with a wifi repeater in the chain – but this is a guess based on having no idea what Netgear device you have in mind.

You might like to roam around the forum for the MR1100 to see if there is anything useful there.
