Arlo pro 2 do wired only features work with solar panel?

Hi guys, just bought the Arli pro 2 4 pack X 2

Question I have regarding some of the features that only work if they are wired ( 2 second pre event video and the zone specific triggering)

Does that include being wired into the solar panel?

Logistically the external cameras may be easier to fit with the solar charger but if I lose that functionality, would go through the additional pain of drilling the necessary holes to power the cameras.

No.

All that the solar panel does it to charge the batteries. It is not a substitute for always on mains power.
