I have 8 days left to return the pro
$100 more for the pro 2.

The Arlo Pro 2 has 1080P video and for digital camera zoom is better. I think the battery is the same size as the Arlo Pro 1.

I have the original Arlo and Netgear updates the base station firmware and phone application software regular. It depends on what features you need most for upgrading.

Please note that most new users are not very happy with the night vision quality. Some washed out images and many say it's much darker (i'm in this camp). Some pitch black recording for a few seconds to the whole video
