Thanks for that @Edinburgh_lad1. If I have to be onsite to accomplish this it’ll be inactive until I can travel back to that location, 300miles away. I was hoping there was a remote process or Arlo Tech support can do something on the server without my 600mile round trip. Many thanks.

I'm a legacy Arlo User and was presented with a free trial of new features. My trial ended, and my legacy 7-day cloud storage hardware is showing as offline and inactive (require prepaid subscription). I'm remote from the cameras at a different location. How can Arlo re-provision my account for the legacy free plan. In this inactive status the Live Chat support doesn't even work.

Base Station: VMB4000r3

Cameras: Pro 2

Legacy in the US, but not in the EU or the UK.

Reboot the system. If this doesn't work, remove the cameras from the account and add them again. Do one at a time because in the past, users complained of not being able to re-add their cameras. In order to re-add them, you need to hold the camera close to the base station.

I regret to say this but for that kind of remote monitoring, you need to get a more reliable system like Ubiquiti that is ethernet powered.

Several here power their base using a smart switch, so they can power-cycle it remotely. Something you could pick up before you go back on site.

@ThinMan - do you think the location lost power for a while? The camera batteries can drain fairly quickly when the base wifi disappears. So if the site loses power frequently, you might also look into a UPS for the base and perhaps the router.

There is no way we can do it on our end.
