Camera Arlo Pro 2 model VMC 4030P cannot sync

Existing sytem:

Base Station VMB 4000

Camera Arlo Pro 2 (model VMC 4030P)

Battery A-1

Charger VMA 4400C

One of the Arlo Pro-2 cameras has stopped communicating with the Hub. We deleted the camera and tried to re-sync but the camera could not be found. Each time the camera sync button is pressed, the light flashes alternating blue & amber for a few minutes, then stops blinking.

1) If we need to replace the camera, are these newer models compatible with the VMB 4000 Base Station:

Essential & Essential XL (3rd Generation)

Pro (6th Generation)

2) Will the batteries for the newer models fit into the existing VMA 4400C charger, or will we need to purchase the VMA 5400C charger?

3) Is the Pro 2 model A1 battery compatible with the VMA 5400C charger?

There's no 3rd gen cameras listed as compatible with the VMB4000.

There are no removable batteries in any Essential camera. The Pro models allow that and those batteries are compatible with the 5400c charger. The Pro 2 camera batteries only work in the 4400c charger.
