    <description>&lt;P&gt;I successfully restored my system after a tech-chat had me reset the base. &amp;nbsp;I was reluctant to go through all the camera setups because no support thread suggested this was needed following this app refresh. &amp;nbsp;But I did have to purchase a one month/one device service plan in order to reach tech support. &amp;nbsp;Glad I don't need to keep the subscription! &amp;nbsp;What an ordeal due to the &lt;EM&gt;understated&lt;/EM&gt; Aug 19 App update:&amp;nbsp;"6.3.4 - General stability, bug fixes, and performance improvements"&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P class=""&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;I was a happy with my Pro 2 System VMB4000 since 2020 until the August update broke everything: all “Offline”.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;Repeating the original setup instructions don't work.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;All 3 base lights are solid green but the new app doesn't find the base or any camera.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;The online help is NOT helpful.&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;Now what?&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;Is a damn subscription finally mandatory?&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/SPAN&gt;If Arlo wants my money, why would they put customers through this cruel ordeal! and send me a polite email pitch?!&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Having the same issue with 2 or 4 Arlo Pro&amp;nbsp; cameras and despite following all the steps and advice from resetting (and re-syncing to a base station) everything these 2 cameras wont appear on the Devices list - despite the rapid blue flashing lights for 10 sec on the camera (which suggests they have been synced).&amp;nbsp; The base station does sync so just a camera 'issue' I think&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did not have this issue until several weeks ago....and started with the offline issue.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have some pro5 cameras so have a subscription &amp;amp; still have the issue with the Pro2's so that isn't the issue!!&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for offering to help. &amp;nbsp;I will contact you Sat Sep 6 when I am next on site.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had an online chat with Subash from Sales who confirmed I did not need a subscription to reenable my Pro 2 system but that I was on with my own troubleshooting the consequences of the upgrade:&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;“You must have an active Arlo Secure subscription or an Arlo trial plan to perform the scan and reach Customer Support.” &amp;nbsp;This means I have to buy a new device (&amp;amp; subscription) although what I had was working FINE &amp;nbsp;since 2020.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class=""&gt;He claimed “Arlo Pro 2 is generally compatible with the latest Arlo app,” &amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;That’s NOT my experience nor that of many other users.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;That said, I still have one Pro 2 in service, and it is working fine with "Feed" and "Dashboard".&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, just keep an eye on that because there have been reports on here of users cancelling subscriptions but continuing to be charged. Some for months. This is of course fraudulent, and if this happens, you should contact your bank to report it as unauthorised transactions.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
