Friend unable to see any devices

This is so frustrating. I am trying to set this up for my wife. I gave her permission from my phone . She downloaded the app, signed in and everything. Her phone cannot see the devices. Both apps are same version and I rebooted the base station. Still no luck. Our app screen looks different.

Mine shows Dashboard, Feed, emergency, devices, routines - at the bottom

and at the top I see user logo, home, +, and ...

My spouse' shows arlo and emergency sign, Add new device

at the bottom it shows devices, library, mode, settings.

What's wrong with this picture?

ok...after forced UI upgrade (I don't know what this is? Same version of the app should have the same UI). She can now see the devices. Thanks but no thanks.
