Arlo Pro 2 (H10) Battery and Charger Compatibility

I have three Pro 2 with their original batteries and have purchased a VMA5400 and VMA5400C hoping that they were compatible and could be mixed with the original VMA4400 batteries. The packaging only says designed for Ultra, Ultra2 Pro 3 and 4 and doesn't mention Pro 2.

Looking at the battery specifications for the 4400 and 5400 they look exactly the same. Same charge voltage and same capacity and dimensionally the the same.

Is there any difference? Can I mix the two in the cameras and charger without issue?

The batteries are decidedly different, starting with the shape/size. The contacts are in different places. There's no way to make them compatible.

No, they are not at all the same.

VMA4400:

7.2 volts
2440 mAh

VMA5400:

3.85 volts
4800 mAh

Dimensions and placement of the output pins are also different. The Ultra battery will not fit into a Pro 2 camera (and vice versa). Pro 2 batteries will not fit into the VMA5400C (and Ultra batteries will not fit into the VMA4400C).

The Pro 2 battery is on the left; the Ultra / Pro 3 / Pro 4 / Pro 5s battery is on the right.

Thanks for the replies but I'm now confident that there is no difference and the batteries are interchangeable in the Pro 2 camera and both fit in the charger. They operate and charge without issue.

Then you either

didn't purchase the Arlo VMA5400 and VMA5400C
don't have a Pro 2 camera.

I do have both cameras, both batteries, and both charging stations. I can assure you that they are NOT interchangable.
