What is the model of your charger? The solar charger that came with my Arlo Pro 2 kit of 4 cameras is model #VMA4600.

The Arlo solar panel will work on any of the Pro and Go model cameras.

But what does "work" mean?

As I understand it, the solar charger will top up the batteries. But it will not provide the functions you get with a mains connection.

Exactly right. It's a trickle charger, not a power supply.
