Both my cameras stopped recording

About 2 weeks ago Both my cameras stopped recording when they detect motion. Everything else seems fine. I can turn them on and turn them off, see live action, etc.. But when I walk in front of them, they don’t record.

Have you tried making a manual recording while livestreaming?

The mods can do a sync from the Arlo Cloud - I'm tagging them to call their attention to your issue.

When I walk in front of one of them it shows me walking on my phone. And there is no recording in my library.

I’ve rebooted the system. Didn’t help.

Live-stream a camera and you will see a "target" icon at the bottom center of the display. The center circle will be white. (This along with the other icons will disappear after a second or so, but touching the video image will make it reappear).

Touch the center of the target to start a recording. The center circle will turn red when recording is in progress. Touch it again to end the recording.

I live streamed and it manually recorded and showed in my library.

And lo and behold now the cameras are again recording upon sensing motion and storing in the library!

Not sure if it was the manual recording that jumpstarted it or the note that you sent to Arlo but either way you’ve made my day a very happy one. Thanks so much!
