    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have never been able to record locally to my USB stick. I have confirmed it is the right size, reformatted it to the right format and even formatted it via the station also. But, it always shows on the app that my USB drive needs formatting. My base station is model VMB4500R2. Also, the firmware is up to date.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Have you double-checked that there is only one partition?&amp;nbsp; Some sticks have two (a small one with with optional software or a readme, plus the main one).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;You might need to remove the cameras and base from the account, then reset the base and add everything back.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Definitely a pain, but it does sometimes resolve your problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
