Stays offline when internet cycles

If internet is lost, Arlo goes offline as expected. However, when internet is restored, Arlo stays offline. Power cycle of only the Arlo base ALWAYS restores Arlo to full functionality.

1. Is there a setting to allow Arlo to try to come back online periodically?
2. Is this being worked on by devs since i see a large number of unanswered posts on similar issues?
3. I use smart things which notifies me of issue. Can we get the same kind of notifications from Arlo?

As you said, a number of people have noted this problem
1. No, there's no setting

Hopefully you've seen the workaround being a wifi outlet/switch, which will reconnect to the wifi once the internet is restored, with which you can power cycle the Arlo base station. Not ideal but a workaround at this stage
