Pro 2 System with Current Doorbell Camera

I have an Arlo Pro two system with 5 cameras. If I purchase a newer doorbell camera with subscription, will it work with my Pro 2 base station and will I be able to add the Doorbell camera for just the monthly rate for the one camera without paying extra for going over 5 cameras.

Yes. The limit is 5 unsubscribed cameras in the account.

You can connect the doorbell directly to your home wifi (with no base).

Generally VMB4xxx bases are compatible, but VMB3xxx bases are not.
