It shouldn't unless you have a setting that causes this. Tell us more about what mode you're using as well as its settings. Are you also using a schedule?

Ib used to have a schedule.. then I changed feed. Now I don't see a schedule. I did add sound and now recording...

Since you are using Feed that means you're using the new user interface (UI). Click on Routines and then Automations at the top to see what schedules are in use. Note that you would need 2 schedules - one to set a mode for, say, the day and another for nighttime.
