Manual recordings or snapshots are not available on local backup storage, only to the arlo cloud storage.

Viewing access to the backup storage device is possible using the vmb4540, vmb5000 smarthubs from the mobile app with limitations.

Thanks, unfortunatly your answer is correct and l cannot record locally, need a different base station.
