camera does not work at night

My cameras work fine all day. Alert me and record but at night time I get nothing. There is no schedule on so that is not it. What is the purpose if they do not work when I want them the most. Infrared is turned on as well

Can you confirm that your cameras are not detecting motion at night. You would need to walk past the cameras say every hour until they stop detecting to prove when they stop and start again.

It could also be just a environmental issue with warm nights as the infrared motion sensor can struggle to detect heat variations when the air temperature is closer to human body temperature.
