Arlo Pro2 - can you record constantly or only when motion is detected?

The Nest camera constantly records and marks where activities have occurred.

With the Arlo Pro 2 it seems to only record when there is motion detected.

Is it possible to have the Arlo Pro 2 camera record 24x7?

If it can record 24x7, will it do so for both cameras and save for the 7 days?

To be able to record 24/7 I believe you have to purchase that option through the subscription plans. Check them out at

Yes, with the additional CVR plan/subscription and the Arlo Pro 2 under AC power, you can record 24/7. Motion and audio triggered recordings will be added to your library. When you view your CVR timeline, there are green or blue marks to indicate motion or audio triggered events
