&lt;P&gt;Can you onboard the base if you put it near the router (connecting it directly to the router's ethernet)?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If that works, then you might have an issue with your adapter - not sure if it is a powerline kit or a wifi extender.&amp;nbsp; Whatever it is, it won't improve the connection between the two cameras, since they need to connect to the closed WiFi created by the VMB4500 (which cannot be extended).&amp;nbsp; But you do need some way to connect the base station to ethernet.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Adding to the suggestion above, you indicate trying to "re-activate" the base station. You may also need to factory reset the device before claiming.
