Arlo now requires subscription despite promising 7 days free video. Ive had two cameras break and spent over 10 hpurs with customer service who promise to replace but never do. Unethical businesses will not stand.

Do not buy arlo. Cameras are fine when they work but business is unethocal. You will be forced pay fees you never wanted. Customer service is an endless loop. Buy any other but this....btw...cameras broke just after warrant. Now useless.

Apparently you failed to not only read the box completely but also failed to read details on the web, whether on arlo.com or elsewhere. Subscriptions are required for ANY camera newer than the Pro 2, starting with the Ultra in 2018.

Your failure to read does not constitute a scam by Arlo.
