    <description>&lt;P&gt;My cameras stopped recording one day, so I took the batteries out for 10 seconds then put them back in. (because this is how I have dealt with these issues in the past. and the camera always re-synced and no problems). When the camera came back on it re-synced, but now it is saying the device is inactive. a paid subscription is required to activate device. I only have 5 cameras connected to the one base station.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Is that message showing on both on the Arlo app and the web client on your computer? Have you tried removing the battery and re-inserting the battery again? Have you also tried power cycling your Base Station?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
