We have used pc we have also been told that Arlo did an update and now it will cost an additional $150 for them to take control of our PC and update it, which is ridiculous! Our system has always worked since the day we installed it and then when we have to change routers all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore, that's insane! Thank you for suggesting the PC, but we have already done that

Try using a PC (browsing to my.arlo.com). That sometimes works when the app fails.

It's unfortunate that you googled for support rather than using the tools available via the app (Settings, Support) or web (Support link at the top and bottom of these pages). Arlo doesn't charge a thing and will NEVER take over your computer. Stories of things like this are all over with strong warnings to not fall for them.

Ok where is the help? Being as I can't get into settings under my account,I have to use Google to get to the Arlo community, and then I get responses like yours! Instead of a solution and actual help, and it would have been mis fortunate had we have been stupid enough to give someone control of our computer, I came here for help and seem to be getting the same run around, this is ridiculous!

You never said if you tried a suggestion of using the PC to connect. This is a user to user forum so not sure why you are attacking people trying to help or prevent you from paying a scam.
