I have the same problem. I have two basestations. The VMB4000 that has problems and the VMB4540 that has no problems.

The VMB4000 keeps hanging on 'updating firmware'. After trying different network setups it still does not work.

Please find a resolution?

Speed checked, everything the tech support asked for the 2 hrs on the call was done and yet no one can resolve this issue.

If firmware status can not be checked, the base remains offline and doesn't allow me to add any cameras...

NEED HELP!
